why is the downloaded version of CMS VWD running in demo mode? how do i get the full version to work with?

That is strange - it should not run in demo mode by default...

To make the CMS run in 'normal' mode make sure the following config section is set in the VwdCms.config file:

<host>
    <cmsmode>normal</cmsmode>
</host>

I hope that this fixes the problem.

I have the same problem and the mode is normal in the VwdCms.config
<cmsmode>normal</cmsmode>

but still it's running in the demo mode
